BRIDGEPORT - Officials say a driver crashed through a fence into the sign of a popular Bridgeport deli today.

The crash happened at the Red Rooster Cafe on Oak Street at around 1:30 p.m.

Witnesses say a customer was driving in with her young daughter when she somehow crashed into the local landmark sign.

Officials say the accident also caused a second crash a short time later, but luckily it was just a "fender bender."
