Driver hurt in early morning accident

Firefighters say a driver was seriously hurt after crashing his car into a parked tractor-trailer.It happened around 4 a.m. today at the Fairfield rest stop

FAIRFIELD - Firefighters say a driver was seriously hurt after crashing his car into a parked tractor-trailer.

It happened around 4 a.m. today at the Fairfield rest stop on the northbound side of the highway.

Firefighters tell us the driver of the car was ejected from the vehicle and trapped under it.

They say the man was taken to Saint Vincent's Medical Center.
