Driver identified in fatal Stamford crash

STAMFORD - Police have released the identity of the man killed on the Merritt Parkway in Stamford last week.

State Police say Scott Getzinger, 46, died Friday night.

Investigators say another driver, going in the other direction, lost control, crossed over the highway and crashed into Getzinger's vehicle.

The driver and passenger in the other car were taken to the hospital and are expected to be OK.
