BRIDGEPORT - Drivers who commute on Park Avenue in Bridgeport say the large number of potholes forming on the road have them worried for their cars.

At Tires and Wheels in Bridgeport, managers say they've seen an increase in people with blown out tires and damage from potholes.

Fred Schonagel, the owner of Tires and Wheels, says things are usually slow between the holidays and February. But they're now seeing three to four cars a day with pothole damage.

Drivers are advised to get their tires checked immediately if they start to feel their car shaking.
