Drowning victim involved in bar fight identified

FAIRFIELD - Police have identified the body of man pulled from Ash Creek after a fight behind Chubby's Bar & Grill in Bridgeport as Wayne Bentley of West Haven.

Police say Bentley was involved in a fight with a patron at the bar.

The fight spilled out into the creek early Saturday morning behind the bar on Fairfield Avenue.

Police say they are still investigating the official cause of Bentley's death.

They say they are also searching for the other person involved.
