BRIDGEPORT - Some Bridgeport residents say they might go hungry this Easter due to a staffing shortage at the Department of Social Services (DSS).

While the residents' paperwork is all in order, the food stamps may not arrive in time. DSS officials tell News 12 Connecticut that the delay is due to a staffing shortage that hindered processing applications.

DSS officials say they are working on solving the problem.
