Easton Baptist Church in danger of closing due to low membership

EASTON - A historic church in Easton is in danger of closing its doors for good.

The Easton Baptist Church says that it needs more members. It currently only has six members in the congregation.

The Easton Baptist Church has been at its current location since 1829. The pews inside can seat more than 100 people.

The existing congregation of six is inviting the public inside the church on Saturday morning in hopes of boosting their membership.

The church says it needs around 20 new members to sign up in order to stay afloat.
