Easton First Selectman Tom Herrmann will not run for re-election

EASTON - Easton First Selectman Tom Herrmann is dropping his bid for re-election.

Hermann says he will not seek a fourth term.

The Republican says work demands outside of his part-time job as first selectman are too much.

Republican Town Committee Chairman Adam Dunsby says he will take Hermann's place on the ballot in November.
