EASTON - A house was destroyed by fire yesterday in what neighbors describe as an early Fourth of July display.A quiet neighborhood quickly turned chaotic as a house fire in Easton touched off a public safety emergency yesterday. Officials say a garage full of ammunition and fireworks went up in flames, turning Judd Road into a dangerous place to be.Neighbors say they're grateful for the first responders who put their own safety last.Officials say the home was completely destroyed, but no one was hurt. They have yet to determine the cause of the fire.
