(09/10/10) EASTON - Easton police have arrested a woman they believe is behind burglaries in different communities around the state.

Police arrested Mallory Reed, 27, of Southbury, after police say she was caught breaking into an Easton home on Tuesday.

According to police, a Knapp Street homeowner pulled in to find Reed?s car in the driveway. Reed was confronted, and the homeowner called 911 with her license plate, investigators say.

Investigators who raided Reed?s home say they found tens of thousands of dollars worth of jewelry. They are now trying to determine where it all came from.
