EASTON - Hundreds of Easton residents gathered this afternoon for the unveiling of a memorial plaque to honor those who died in the Sept. 11 attacks.

It took five years for Easton officials to agree on what location the memorial should call home.

According to organizers, the memorial cost $40,000 to build. The money came from members of the Easton community and from friends of Peter Hanson, the Easton resident who perished along with his wife and toddler daughter on Sept. 11.
