STRATFORD - A Stratford food bank is stepping in to help kids eat this summer.

The Sterling House Food Pantry on Main Street is asking for kid-friendly donations.

They say many children rely on school-based free lunch programs. With school letting out for the summer, those kids won't be able to get the meals.

A group has also planted a garden to provide kids with fresh vegetables.
