WESTON - An endangered hawk is on the mend at a local animal rescue.

According to officials, the sharp-skinned hawk was injured when it fell from its nest in Weston earlier this week.

Officials say the hawk is undergoing rehabilitation and will be released near its nest in a few days.

The sharp-skinned hawk is on the endangered species list.
