MILFORD - Mother's Day is a day most people spend dining out and relaxing, but one local family hit the road today to sell flowers for the holiday in Milford. Raman Montanaro, his wife and one of their sons positioned themselves just off I-95 in Milford at around 6 a.m. and spent the rest of the day selling long-stemmed red roses to make extra cash."We have seven children, so it is a lot of money to raise them," Montanaro says. The Montanaros, however, insist it's not just about the money, but about spending the day together as a family. The Montanaros say they are not yet sure if they will be back on the road selling flowers next Mother's Day. They say that will depend on their financial situation.
