HARTFORD - Mental health experts are offering some advice on how to deal with the upcoming 10th anniversary of Sept. 11.

Some residents say all the coverage of the attacks has them feeling overwhelmed.

As many prepare to mark the 10th anniversary of the attacks, experts say don't be afraid to say enough is enough.

Stephanie Haen, director of behavioral health at Family Centers, says some people are compelled to watch, but that if it starts having an overwhelming emotional effect, turning away is the best option.

Haen says those who find the coverage too overwhelming should try to focus on survivor stories instead of the devastation. She also says there's nothing wrong with turning away from the formal ceremonies and finding another activity to do or something else to watch.
