FAIRFIELD - A Fairfield pooch is recovering after being viciously attacked by two coyotes over the weekend.

Nathan's owners tell News 12 Connecticut that they let the dog out in the yard on Sunday night. They say they soon heard Nathan squealing, and ran outside to find the coyotes latched onto his neck.

Nathan, a 7-year-old Rat Terrier, suffered puncture wounds to his neck.
