FAIRFIELD - Two teenagers are facing multiple drug charges following a monthlong investigation by Fairfield police.

Police say 18-year-olds Sotirios Georgakopoulos and Pema Tenzin were operating a drug factory on Bibbins Avenue. The two were allegedly found in possession of both marijuana and methamphetamine within 1,500 feet of a school.

Authorities? first warning something was up came from unusual traffic in the area.

?If you have traffic in your neighborhood that resembles a daytime shopping center on Route 1, then you know you have a problem,? says Sgt. James Perez.

Georgakopoulos is out on bond; Tenzin remains jailed. Both are due in court next week.
