FAIRFIELD - Police say the man who was seen jumping off the Citibank building in Fairfield early this morning is facing a slew of charges today.

Authorities say the incident took place shortly after midnight at the Citibank building on Black Rock Turnpike.

A friend of Steven Ensinger, 23, says he is an experienced rock climber and that when he goes out drinking, he likes to climb things.

Police eventually persuaded Ensinger to get off the roof, though a flying leap into a tree from a height of about 12 feet may not have been what they had in mind.

Ensinger was released from jail after posting a $2,500 bond.
