FAIRFIELD - A Bridgeport woman, working as a nanny in Fairfield, is facing charges after police say she stole thousands of dollars worth of jewelry from her employer.

Fairfield police say they arrested Abigail Palmer, 23, yesterday after her boss says she caught her red handed.

Police say Palmer ran when she heard her employer calling police, but was found a few blocks away.
