Fairfield police asking for public's help to identify TD Bank robbery suspects

FAIRFIELD - Fairfield police are asking the public to help identify two armed men who robbed a TD Bank branch on Friday.

Authorities say the suspects walked into the bank at 1643 Post Road and demanded cash. There were no customers inside at the time, but bank employees say they were forced to the back of the bank near the safe.

The suspects made off with an undisclosed amount of cash, but it is unclear whether they fled on foot or in a car.

No one was hurt during the robbery.
