SOUTHPORT - A Wallingford man is out on bail Thursday evening following a high-speed chase and crash in Fairfield.
Authorities say they initially spotted 23-year old Emil Stuck driving more than 100 mph in the emergency lane on I-95 before he got off at exit 20, lost control of his car and slammed into a tree at 257 Bronson Road. He then allegedly got out his vehicle, fled the scene and hid under a porch until he was finally arrested.
A passenger was injured in the car and was taken to St. Vincent's Medical Center. His condition is unknown.
