FAIRFIELD - The owner of the most expensive mansion in Fairfield is in trouble with the law after police say he tried to forge a prescription to buy painkillers.

They say they arrested Bradley Jack on Friday after a CVS pharmacist noticed the prescription for 12 Oxycontin and nine Ritalin pills was photocopied.

Police say there was also a signature on the prescription that didn't match the doctor who supposedly signed it.

Town records show Jack and his ex-wife own a 20-acre waterfront estate on Sasco Hill Road worth an estimated $35 million.
