FAIRFIELD - Two people are facing charges in Fairfield after police say they tried to have marijuana mailed to them.

Sgt. Sue Lussier says Fairfield police intercepted a package containing nearly 14 pounds of marijuana, valued at around $60,000, on Thursday.

Officials say the package came from Arizona.

Investigators say it was noticed by postal employees and they then arranged for a delivery to 36-year-old Tracy Dapp's home on Pine Tree Lane.

Police arrested Dapp and her boyfriend, Peter Miller, 40.

Both were charged with possession of marijuana and intent to sell, with an added charge for being within 1,500 feet of an elementary school.

Dapp is scheduled to face a judge on Oct. 21, while Miller is being held on $75,000 bond and is due in court in November.
