STRATFORD - The search is over for another pilot of Fairfield's Eagle One Emergency helicopter.Joining the six other volunteer pilots who help launch the helicopter whenever it is needed will be Sikorsky Airport President Jeff Pino. Pino says that after more than 20 years of experience and army helicopter training, he is excited to be able to help others. He says it is actually the first helicopter that he ever flew. The search for new pilots began when two of the main operators left recently. The maintenance and operation of the helicopter is funded by a non-profit organization called the Nelson Dacona Foundation.
