NORWALK - A woman who faked her credentials to work with autistic children was sentenced to three years in prison and five years probation this morning.
Stacey Lore had claimed she was certified to work with autistic children and said she had a PhD, but in reality, she never graduated from high school.
Lore pleaded guilty to scamming both the Norwalk and Weston school districts.
A group of parents were present at today's sentencing hearing and some read letters to the judge before the sentencing.
