Fallen tree stalls Metro-North Danbury Line train

A fallen tree caused problems with the first Danbury Line Metro-North train this morning. The train hit a tree which then fell onto the tracks

NORWALK - A fallen tree caused problems with the first Danbury Line Metro-North train this morning.

The train hit a tree which then fell onto the tracks in Norwalk at around 6:30 a.m.

Metro-North called in crews to clear the tree and the train took passengers to the Merritt 7 station, where they got off and boarded another train.

No one was hurt.
