BRIDGEPORT - Family and friends have created a memorial for Justin Mariano, the Shelton resident who was killed Saturday night near Holy Ghost Church in Bridgeport.
The 29-year-old was shot and killed near Spring and East Main streets.
Employees at Sharp Cutz say Mariano had worked there for two months. They opened up three hours late on Monday because Mariano normally opened up the business.

Marinello Schools of Beauty in Fairfield says Mariano had just graduated from its cosmetology and barbering program. The school's vice president called him talented, bright and energetic.
Mohammad Faruk, who works at the Convenience Mart near Sharp Cutz, says he saw Mariano often and can't believe his friend is gone.
Meanwhile, authorities are continuing to look for suspects in the death. Police had circulated surveillance video from nearby that showed a man and a woman they thought might have information on the shooting. Police say they have spoken to the two and can't explain what, if any, involvement they may have had.
