Family, friends mourn Norwalk officer

Family and friends of a retired Norwalk police officer are saying goodbye to him Saturday morning.

Lt. Tim Murphy retired in February of 2015 after working for the Norwalk police department for 33 years.

NORWALK - Family and friends of a retired Norwalk police officer are saying goodbye to him Saturday morning.

As News 12 reported, Lt. Tim Murphy died just over a week ago after battling cancer.

Murphy retired in February of 2015 after working for the department for 33 years.

A funeral Mass celebrating Murphy's life is being held at Saint Aloysius Church in New Canaan.
