Family relieved after Milford murder arrest

MILFORD - Milford police say a man already in prison is facing murder charges in the 2006 slaying of an aspiring singer who was found beaten to death in her Milford home.

Police say Matthew Pugh, 40, was arrested yesterday and charged with killing 26-year-old Alexandra Ducsay.

They say she died from blunt force trauma to her head.

The family says it was a horrific scene that still haunts them.

Pugh was already in custody at the Garner Correctional Facility in Newtown on unrelated charges.
