MILFORD - A Milford man killed in a moped accident on Tuesday is remembered by his family Saturday.

Family members of Chris Corvino, 53, say they are still coming to terms with his tragic death.

Police say Corvino hit a curb and was thrown from his motorized scooter while turning from Bridgeport Avenue onto Rivercliff Drive in Milford.

Mark Corvino says his cousin Chris had worked in the facilities department at Housatonic Community College before becoming disabled due to chronic health problems.

The family says Corvino's wake will be held at Galello Funeral Home on Tuesday and he will be laid to rest the following day.
