Family renews effort for answers 5 years after fatal shooting

BRIDGEPORT - Family members made a renewed effort today to receive answers in the case of a woman fatally shot five years ago.

Ronteisha Carroll was found shot dead at the corner of Carroll and Connecticut avenues in Bridgeport back in 2007. The family hopes their efforts will push someone to come forward with information.

Police say Carroll was caught in the crossfire of a street fight. Family members says the 20-year-old mother had recently celebrated her daughter's first birthday.

Anyone with information is asked to call Bridgeport police.
