BRIDGEPORT - A Bridgeport family is still searching for a woman who was last seen 17 years ago.

Omayra Velasquez was last seen around Iranistan Avenue and Gregory Street in 1993. She was 21 when she disappeared.

Her brother continues to put up missing person fliers, even though the police investigation has gone cold.

Velasquez says he refuses to believe his sister is dead. He's now raising her 5-year-old grandson.
