BRIDGEPORT - A Bridgeport family says unplowed streets led to the death of a loved one who suffered an asthma attack last night.

Tyrone Tillman, 29, suffered an asthma attack after breathing in smoke from the kitchen, according to Denise Sena, Tillman’s sister-in-law.

An ambulance dispatched to the home couldn’t reach the home. Instead, the family drove Tillman halfway to meet the ambulance. The family says it was too late by the time they got Tillman to responders.

A spokesperson for the ambulance company says unplowed roads make it difficult for medics to do their jobs.
