NORWALK - The family of a Norwalk man is waiting for him to return to southwestern Connecticut after being stuck in Haiti because of the earthquake.

Reached by phone Wednesday, Roudy Lisere said, "everything is crushed, the city's crushed, everything crushed."

Lisere also said Wednesday's aftershock knocked down many buildings that survived the first quake.

For its part, Lisere's family is coordinating relief efforts from a cramped conference room at Norwalk city hall.
