Father, 2 sons appear in court on burglary charges

WOODBRIDGE - A father and his two sons went before a judge today after police say they burglarized a Woodbridge home while the owner was inside, and then fled the state.

Police say Michael Coons broke into a home on Park Lane last month and stole jewelry, credit cards and a purse. Officers also arrested Coons' sons Steven and Dillon.

Police tracked down the suspects after they allegedly used the stolen credit cards.

Authorities say the three men traveled to Florida and were brought back to Connecticut earlier this week.

Coons and his oldest son are being held on $300,000 bond.  Coons' younger son is being held on $150,000 bond.
