FAIRFIELD - FBI, Fairfield police and state police have teamed up in the hunt for three men who pulled off a daring bank robbery on Friday morning.
Investigators say three men in black clothes and masks invaded the Fairfield County Bank on Bronson Road around 10:20 a.m. and left little to chance. According to police, the suspects tied up three bank tellers and a delivery man before loading up an undisclosed amount of cash. No shots were fired and no one was injured.
In less than seven minutes, the suspects left the bank in a vehicle that had been reported stolen in Bridgeport earlier in the day, investigators say. The stolen car was later found abandoned at a rest stop on I-95.
Police are offering a $10,000 reward for help in tracking down the suspects. Anyone with information is asked to call 203-254-INFO.
