Greenwich - The FBI believes one man is responsible for robbing nine banks in five different states in the last two months.

The bank bandit is said to be the same man who held up a bank in Greenwich, this past August, causing SWAT teams to stop a Metro-North train for hours.

Officials say he was last seen holding-up a Chase bank in New Rochelle two weeks ago. They also say he changes his hat and clothes for each robbery.

During each heist the suspect passed the teller a note demanding money and also threatened to use a weapon.

The FBI is asking anyone with information to call them at 203-996-4132. The reward for information leading an arrest is now up to $4,000.
