The Metro-North derailment and collision that happened between Bridgeport and Fairfield just a year ago has federal officials urging more track inspections.

The National Transportation Safety Board recently found that Metro-North inspectors may have failed to see a broken part just two days before that train crash that injured dozens of passengers.
