BRIDGEPORT - A man is under arrest after police say he threatened his estranged wife and son.

Fernando Lopes, 33, allegedly forced his way into the Bridgeport home of his estranged wife late last month and grabbed their toddler. He then allegedly held a knife to the child while demanding to know if he was the father.

Police say Lopes later called his wife, pretending to be a drug dealer, and said he would kill her and her son if she reported the incident to police.
