BRIDGEPORT - A fire in Bridgeport badly damaged a vacant home

It started around 4:45 a.m. on Connecticut Avenue.

Firefighters say they were able to keep the flames from spreading to neighboring homes.

Investigators are trying to figure out what sparked the fire.
