SHELTON - A Bridgeport firefighter is facing charges after police say he poured acid into his neighbor's water supply.

It happened at the Woodland Mobile Home Park in Shelton.

According to police, the neighbor videotaped Edward Voccola doing something suspicious on his property, near his water supply.

Police say they later determined Voccola had poured hydrochloric acid on some of the rubber and vinyl gaskets leading to the water supply.

The home's water is currently being tested to see if it is safe.

Voccola has been placed on paid administrative leave and is due in court later this month.
