One firefighter is recovering from burns to his neck after battling a fire early Sunday morning.Officials say that the fire started around 4 a.m. in

BRIDGEPORT - One firefighter is recovering from burns to his neck after battling a fire early Sunday morning.

Officials say that the fire started around 4 a.m. in a home near William and Roosevelt streets. They add that the fire started when a dryer located in the garage short-circuited.

The firefighter and another person were taken to the hospital and treated for burns and smoke inhalation.
