First lady coming to Connecticut

First lady Michelle Obama will be coming to Connecticut later this month to support Senate candidate Richard Blumenthal.She will appear at an event on Oct.

WASHINGTON, D.C. - First lady Michelle Obama will be coming to Connecticut later this month to support Senate candidate Richard Blumenthal.

She will appear at an event on Oct. 18.

Other details of the appearance have yet to be announced.

This is the latest high profile event for Blumenthal. President Obama rallied in Stamford last month and former president Bill Clinton stumped for him at Yale as well.
