NORWALK - Flags are flying at half-staff today in Connecticut for a fallen soldier with ties to the city of Norwalk.

Pfc. David Fahey, Jr. died after being hit by a roadside bomb in Afghanistan.

People from his old neighborhood on Fillow Street say his family must be devastated.

Fahey is the 11th soldier with ties to Connecticut to die in Afghanistan and the second soldier with ties to Norwalk.

There is no word yet on funeral arrangements.
