Flatto to run for state comptroller

FAIRFIELD - Fairfield First Selectman Ken Flatto announced this afternoon that he's running for state comptroller.

The Democrat hopes to win the office previously held by Nancy Wyman, who announced she is running for lieutenant governor on Dan Malloy's ticket.

State Healthcare Advocate Kevin Lembo and State Representative Tom Reynolds, of Ledyard, have also announced their plans to run for comptroller on the Democratic ticket in November.
