HARTFORD - Republican Tom Foley conceded yesterday in the race for governor, clearing the way for Dan Malloy.
The Greenwich businessman said he does not think a legal challenge would benefit the state.
Meanwhile, the Democratic former Stamford mayor complimented his opponent for making a graceful exit.
Malloy says he's already talking with outgoing Gov. M. Jodi Rell about the state budget. He will take office January 5th.
