Former Boy Scout leader accused in child porn case

Neighbors and fellow parishioners of a former Westport Boy Scout leader are urging the community to stand behind his family this evening following child porn

WESTPORT - Neighbors and fellow parishioners of a former Westport Boy Scout leader are urging the community to stand behind his family this evening following child porn accusations.

Kevin Hill, 47, is facing a wide range of child pornography charges. Police say the former Boy Scout leader had accumulated a large amount of child pornography on his computer.

Hill's fellow parishioners are asking their community not to jump to conclusions, and hold fast in friendship and faith.

Police say Hill is free on a $50,000 bond and is due in court on Friday.

Boy Scout officials say they have a nationwide policy in place to make sure no scout is ever alone with an adult.
