The New Canaan man accused of trying to kill his wife after she wanted a divorce is expected to make bail on Monday.John Farren agreed

NEW CANAAN - The New Canaan man accused of trying to kill his wife after she wanted a divorce is expected to make bail on Monday.

John Farren agreed to a deal that will require him to go straight to a mental hospital in Hartford when he is released.

Once he completes treatment, he will have to stay at a relative's home in West Hartford and is not allowed to have any contact with his wife or children.
