BRIDGEPORT - The former manager of the Holiday Inn in downtown Bridgeport is suing his former employer, reportedly claiming he was fired for refusing to raise rates following Hurricane Sandy.

William McGarry is suing the hotel's owners, claiming they ordered him to hike up rates following the storm, when demand spiked.

McGarry says he refused and was fired.

A judge has now denied a request by the hotel owners to throw out the case.
