STAMFORD - A former Little League umpire from Stamford is now facing more charges after he was caught following a long search.

Police rearrested Anthony Ofiero, 54, and have added a charge of failure to appear in court.

Ofiero had been on the run since he skipped a court date last summer on charges he stole about $4,000 from league.

Ofiero was released on $1,500 bond and is due in court June 11.
